An Innovative Approach to Capturing Long and Short Opportunities in Global Equities
Based on an investable strategy in place since November 2019, this long/short UCITS global equity fund applies a fundamental stock-picking approach supported by a proprietary artificial intelligence tool that analyzes over 5,000 companies across 45 countries. The fund combines a rigorous discretionary selection of 30 attractive long positions with 30 short positions in lower-quality stocks, aiming to generate an optimal risk-adjusted return. The portfolio construction is opportunistic and style-agnostic, allowing for flexibility in evolving market conditions. The fund is actively managed by a seasoned and complementary duo collaborating for the past 20 years : Patrick Armstrong, a macroeconomist, and Eugen Fostiak, a quantitative and technology specialist. The objective is to deliver 50% of the MSCI World Index performance +5% per annum over a full market cycle, while maintaining controlled volatility (target: 10%).
